Sharon was the first Miss Colorado to become Miss America. During her year of service, she was invited to Europe on an official visit. Sharon found the visit not only thrilling and educational, but she was also impressed with the warm reception she received throughout her visit. Sharon has enjoyed great success as both a motivational speaker and corporate spokesperson as well as enjoying an accomplished acting career in theatrical productions in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Additionally, Sharon has also made quite a presence in both television commercials and guest appearances in sitcoms. Sharon and husband, Terry Mullin, live in Los Angeles and Honolulu. They have two grown sons and three grandsons. Sharon and Terry are very active with various charities and philanthropic causes.
