Carolyn Sapp was the first Miss Hawaii to achieve the title of Miss America (1992), and is also and established leading motivational speaker, a charismatic entertainer and a product spokesperson. Her achievements include starring in a highly acclaimed NBC movie among various feature films, authoring a wide variety of articles and opinion pieces, and national appearances in public forums and mass media. In addition, having hosted past winter events for Fox Sports, Carolyn is gearing up for this summer's hottest sports.
Sapp has been published in many leading newspapers. Her writings on contemporary issues have been seen in The New York Times, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Boston Globe, The Miami Herald and Houston Chronicle. Articles about her work have also been published in Newsweek, U.S. News and World Report, Time, People, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Good Housekeeping and Reader's Digest. In addition, Sapp writes a syndicated column for Safe Places for Abused Women and Children, a national, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide funding for programs and shelters for women and children, an organization which Sapp founded and continues to chair.

As a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University, Sapp has built an outstanding record of achievements in the fields of education, domestic violence, politics, and public affairs. She has been applauded for her inspirational ideas in over 20 House and Senate legislatures, and since 1988, Sapp has helped create and carry out programs to enhance the lives of millions of children and their families. Working with national corporations and government-backed programs as their spokesperson, Sapp has addressed over 400 public and private schools, universities, benefits and conferences.
